Miss World Zimbabwe 2025, Courtney Jongwe, who represented Zimbabwe at the 72nd Miss World Festival in India and reached the Top 40 (Top 10 in Africa), has joined Mental Health Awareness Month conversations by encouraging people to prioritize their well-being through small, consistent actions.
In a message shared on social media, Courtney spoke about choosing to “show up” for herself by staying active, even on days when motivation is low.
“This month, I’m choosing to show up for myself, starting with staying active, even on days I don’t feel motivated,” she wrote. “Not perfection. Just consistency.”
She also encouraged her followers to commit to positive habits that support their mental health and personal growth.
“Pick one thing. Commit to it. Stay with it. I’ve chosen mine… what are you choosing?” she added.
Mental Health Awareness Month is observed annually in May to promote conversations around mental well-being, reduce stigma, and encourage access to support and resources.
