Mística Núñez, a pharmacist and medical student from Punto Fijo, Falcón, will represent Venezuela at the 73rd Miss World Festival
Venezuela has crowned its new representatives for Miss World during a dazzling gala held on Wednesday, 12 November, at Venevisión’s Studio 1. The highlight of the evening was the coronation of Mística Núñez, Miss Falcón, as Miss World Venezuela 2025.
The show, hosted by Isabella Rodríguez and Ileana Márquez Pedroza, opened with a lively Mamma Mia–inspired performance featuring the 25 candidates for Miss Venezuela World 2025.
A distinguished panel of judges, including journalist and TV host Nieves Soteldo, entrepreneur Mauricio Parilli, media personality Diana Silva, haute couture designer Giovanni Scutaro, and model/TV presenter Alejandra Conde (Miss Venezuela World 2020), selected the new winner.
The evening featured swimsuit and evening gown competitions filled with glamour and high energy. Victor Drija Performed during the evening gown round, singing two of his hits. Miss Distrito Capital won Best Evening Gown with a design by Dhey Galaviz.
Best Evening Gown: Distrito Capital. After narrowing the field to seven finalists, including Mística Núñez (Falcón), Gabriella Villegas (Monagas), Milena Soto (Mérida), Silvia Maestre (Apure), María Evangelista Alayón (Amazonas), Gabriella De la Cruz (Yaracuy) and Valeria Di Martino (Zulia), the final question round defined the course of the competition.
Mística Núñez was ultimately crowned by the outgoing Miss Venezuela World, Valeria Cannavo, marking the beginning of her journey toward the 73rd Miss World Festival.
Mística is 24 years old and hails from Punto Fijo, Falcón state. A pharmacist and medical student, she combines her passion for science with a deep interest in human well-being. Beyond her academic pursuits, she enjoys reading and writing, expressing a thoughtful and creative side that complements her commitment to helping others.
Mística Núñez was crowned with the brand-new Miss Venezuela World crown, a majestic creation inspired by the iconic Miss World blue crown and “Beauty With a Purpose”. Bathed in deep and light blue tones, the piece symbolizes commitment, transformation, and social impact. Designed by Alejandro Arraiz in collaboration with the Miss Venezuela Organization, the crown features suspended, faceted crystals that move like shimmering pendulums, giving the jewel life, brilliance, and visual depth. This radiant new emblem of purpose and nobility now rests on the head of Venezuela’s new titleholder.
The gala was broadcast globally on Venevisión, Venevisión Play, and the Miss Venezuela YouTube channel, with actress Rosmeri Marval joining the presentation team.
