Downtown areas revitalised through tree planting and community cleanup drive.

Miss World Uganda, Muhoza Trivia Elle, joined city leaders, community members and the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) for the Clean & Green Streets Campaign held across downtown Kampala earlier this week.

Working alongside volunteers and partners, participants swept streets, cleared waste, planted trees and laid fresh grass along key areas stretching from Nasser Road to Luwum Street and surrounding locations. The initiative aimed to improve sanitation, promote environmental responsibility and enhance the overall appearance of the city centre.

The campaign forms part of ongoing efforts to build a cleaner, greener and more livable Kampala through collaboration between civic authorities and community stakeholders. Organizers noted that visible improvements were already evident following the exercise.

KCCA officials and volunteers were commended for their leadership and participation, with organizers encouraging continued public involvement in future clean-up activities.
