Miss World Türkiye Sıla Saraydemir recently met with Elvan Işık Gezmiş, the first female Member of Parliament from the Turkish province of Giresun, in a meeting that highlighted women’s solidarity and empowerment.
During the visit, Saraydemir expressed her gratitude for the invitation and for the conversation they shared. She emphasized the importance of women supporting and inspiring one another, noting that such connections help strengthen the path toward greater equality and opportunity.
“Meeting with Giresun’s first female Member of Parliament was a great honor for me,” Saraydemir said, thanking Gezmiş for her warm welcome and valuable exchange of ideas. She added that in a world where women inspire and support each other, society moves forward with stronger steps.
Sıla Saraydemir, 22, was crowned Miss World Türkiye 2025 after winning the national Miss Turkey competition and will represent her country at the Miss World Festival, later this year.
