The reigning Miss World Sri Lanka, Anudi Gunasekara, continues to be recognized for her contributions to society as one of Sri Lanka’s most celebrated young women, receiving a series of high-profile awards in recent weeks.

At the Derana Calin Aya Pranama Awards, organized by TV Derana, one of Sri Lanka’s most prominent television networks, Anudi was named “Headliner of the Year.” In her acceptance speech, she expressed heartfelt gratitude:

“I am truly and incredibly honored to be awarded ‘Headliner of the Year’ at the Derana Calin Aya Pranama Awards. This recognition is not just mine, it belongs to all of you. Without your love, belief, and support, I could never have made the kind of ‘headlines’ I did at Miss World.”

Her winning streak didn’t stop there. Just prior to this accolade, Anushi was honored with the title of “Most Popular Woman” at the Wanithaabhimana Awards, hosted by Sirasa TV and NDB Bank. On the very same night, she also received the “Hall of Fame Award of the Year” at the Iconic Awards Sri Lanka.

These achievements highlight Anudi’s growing influence and the pride she brings to her country through her accomplishments and role as Miss World Sri Lanka.
