Miss World Spain 2026 will take place this Saturday, April 18, in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Gran Canaria, where candidates from across the country have been preparing through a series of preliminary challenges while staying at the Grupotel Orquídea in San Agustín. The winner will be crowned by Corina Mrazek, who represented Spain at Miss World in 2025, in Telangana. The new winner will go on to represent Spain at the 75th Anniversary Edition of Miss World in Vietnam (August 9 to September 5). 

Following the international format, the competition includes events such as sports, talent, top model, multimedia, national costume, and social project presentations. Organized by Cres del Olmo and Nuestra Belleza España, Miss World Spain highlights social impact. 

Meet the candidates:

María José Cruz (Almería)

María José Cruz, 20, from Almería, combines her studies in secondary education with work as a children’s monitor. Passionate about skating, boxing, and urban dance, she brings energy and discipline to everything she does. She speaks basic English and is deeply committed to her social project, supporting children living in care centers due to family challenges or abandonment. María José will showcase her skating skills in the talent round and describes herself as determined, empathetic, and inspiring.

Melany Pérez Álvarez (Asturias)

Melany Pérez Álvarez, 26, from Asturias, has a background in Humanities and Social Sciences, with studies in Early Childhood Education and ongoing training in film and theater. She enjoys skating, going to the gym, and exploring nature through hiking. Currently studying English, Melany is involved in the “Local Social Abierto Asturias” initiative and will present a talent performance inspired by cinema, expressing emotions through short acting scenes. She defines herself as a fighter, passionate, and empathetic.

Paloma Gómez Sánchez (Ávila)

Paloma Gómez Sánchez, 25, from Ávila, holds a degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, along with a Master’s in Education. A lover of sports, travel, and nature, she especially enjoys time in the mountains and values meaningful moments with loved ones. She speaks basic English and leads the social project “Salud al Vuelo,” promoting physical activity to support elderly individuals in rural communities. Her talent focuses on creating choreographies and dynamic class environments, and she describes herself as cheerful, ambitious, and committed.

Nery Peniet (Badajoz)

Nery Peniet, 26, from Badajoz, studies Dramatic Arts and Psychology. She enjoys reading, horse riding, and traveling, and speaks English at a B1 level. Nery is the founder of “Ángeles de Sonia,” a therapeutic art-based project focused on emotional healing, particularly for children and adolescents. For the talent segment, she will perform vocally, showcasing her artistic expression through music. With a strong background in competitive swimming, she describes herself as creative, sensitive, and driven by purpose.

Dana Bombardó (Barcelona)

Dana Bombardó, 24, from Barcelona, holds a degree in Humanities, a Master’s in Communication and Culture, and training in Radio and Television. She enjoys writing, reading, crafts, and visiting exhibitions. Fluent in Spanish and Catalan, with B1 English, Dana leads the project “Aging with Purpose,” working alongside social organizations to empower the elderly and challenge age-related stereotypes. Her talent lies in handcrafted artistic creations, and she defines herself as consistent, creative, and resilient.

Sara Díez (Burgos)

Sara Díez, 17, from Burgos, is currently completing her secondary education. A creative spirit, she enjoys musical theater, singing, dancing, acting, drawing, and playing both piano and guitar, alongside staying active at the gym. She speaks Spanish, has a B2 level of English, and basic knowledge of Japanese. Sara is involved in a heartfelt social initiative supporting hospital clowns who bring joy to children in medical care. For the talent segment, she will sing while playing the guitar, and she describes herself as creative, active, and empathetic.

Alexia Hernández (Canarias)

Alexia Hernández, 20, from the Canary Islands, has trained in osteopathy, massage therapy, and as a flight attendant, with aspirations to become a pilot. Passionate about travel, culture, gastronomy, sports, dance, and music, she expresses herself through singing and piano. Fluent in Spanish and French, with advanced English, Alexia leads the social project “Un latido más,” promoting blood, plasma, and bone marrow donation. A former competitive gymnast with international training influences, she defines herself as grateful, committed, and approachable.

Alejandra Ortega Fernández (Ceuta) 

Alejandra Ortega Fernández, 19, from Ceuta, is studying Social Education. She enjoys singing, dancing, traveling, horse riding, acting, and learning new languages. Alejandra speaks Spanish, English at B1 level, basic French, and is beginning Japanese. Her social project focuses on raising awareness about bullying, a cause close to her heart. For her talent, she performs a segment from the musical Wicked, showcasing her ability to sing, dance, and act simultaneously. She describes herself as brave, passionate, and empathetic.

Rosana Ordejón (Ciudad Real)

Rosana Ordejón, 20, from Ciudad Real, is currently pursuing a degree in International Relations after completing her Humanities studies with honors. She enjoys writing, traveling, and dancing, and speaks Valencian and English at a B1 level. Her social project supports the adoption of retired police dogs through the initiative “Adopta un K9,” giving these loyal animals a second chance after years of service. Rosana defines herself as empathetic, authentic, and warm.

Janire Fernández Larrauri (Comunidad de Madrid) 

Janire Fernández Larrauri, 26, representing the Community of Madrid, has studied Pharmacy while currently training in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory sciences. She enjoys horse riding, reading, fashion, traveling, and volunteering, particularly with children. Her social project, “Colores que curan,” supports children with cancer through creative activities such as art and play, helping them cope emotionally during treatment. Janire describes herself as empathetic, resilient, and deeply committed.

María Miguel Espí (Comunidad Valenciana)

María Miguel Espí, 24, from the Valencian Community, holds a degree in Primary Education with a specialization in Speech and Language. Passionate about athletics, reading, and discovering new cultures, she speaks Valencian and English at B2 level. Her social project, “Voces sin barreras,” promotes inclusion and visibility for individuals with functional diversity, particularly in education. A dedicated athlete, she also plays the saxophone as her talent and defines herself as committed, resilient, and empathetic.

María García Serrano (Cuenca)

María García Serrano, 22, from Cuenca, is currently studying Law. She enjoys dancing, swimming, and reading, and speaks Spanish with basic English. Her social project involves supporting a local animal sanctuary, reflecting her compassion for animal welfare. For the talent segment, she will perform a dance routine. María describes herself as independent, creative, and ambitious.

Selene Martí Ortiz (Girona) 

Selene Martí Ortiz, 23, from Girona, is pursuing a degree in Fashion Design. Passionate about art, fashion, travel, painting, and dance, she is also an elite artistic roller skater with years of competitive experience at national level. She speaks Catalan and basic English. Her social project, “Vélora Studio & Club,” focuses on emotional wellbeing and personal growth, especially among young people. Selene will showcase artistic skating as her talent and defines herself as disciplined, artistic, and authentic.

Rosa García (Granada)

Rosa García, 27, from Granada, is an image consultant and entrepreneur, founder of a fashion boutique specializing in event wear. She enjoys reading, cinema, singing, nature, and spending quality time with her family. With a B1 level of English, Rosa leads a social project centered on equality, promoting freedom of expression and inclusion, particularly for marginalized communities. Her talent is lyrical singing in soprano range, and she describes herself as creative, resilient, and empathetic.

Beatriz Olmo Cortinas (Guadalajara)

Beatriz Olmo Cortinas, 26, from Guadalajara, holds a degree in Nursing along with a Master’s in Aesthetic Nursing. She enjoys sports, yoga, reading, and connecting with nature. Speaking English at B1 level, Beatriz’s social project aims to raise awareness about breast cancer and highlight the work of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, focusing on the impact of the disease on patients’ quality of life. She defines herself as authentic, joyful, and passionate.

Elisabeth Reynés (Illes Balears)

Elisabeth Reynés, 22, from the Balearic Islands, holds a degree in Accommodation Management while currently pursuing Hotel Management at the University of the Balearic Islands. Passionate about graphic design, gastronomy, languages, fashion, music, and travel, she speaks Catalan fluently, has a high level of English, and is learning Swedish and German. Her social project focuses on reconnecting people with the ocean while promoting marine conservation and mental wellbeing through volunteerism and environmental education. For her talent, she combines dance and music, performing a fusion of ballroom and Spanish dance alongside a piece played on the viola. She describes herself as approachable, authentic, and curious.

Elisabet Cid Vasylenko (Jaén)

Elisabet Cid Vasylenko, 26, representing Jaén, holds a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, currently pursuing a Master’s in International Relations. She enjoys dancing, reading, spending time with loved ones, and learning languages, speaking English and Russian. Her social project supports animal welfare through the initiative “APA mi mejor amigo,” encouraging care, protection, and adoption of animals. For her talent, she performs oriental dance, showcasing elegance and expression, and she defines herself as confident, elegant, and visionary.

Ainhoa Montenegro (Las Palmas)

Ainhoa Montenegro, 26, from Las Palmas, is a graduate in Social Work, specializing in care for dependent individuals, currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Gerontology. She enjoys reading, spending quality time with family and friends, the beach, fitness, and fashion. With a B1 level of English, her social project, “Once Upon a Donor,” promotes empathy through storytelling, including a book she authored for children with leukemia, supporting emotional resilience during treatment. For her talent, she will perform a vocal piece, and she describes herself as supportive, hardworking, and joyful.

Ivana Girard Hurtado (Lleida)

Ivana Girard Hurtado, 27, from Lleida, has pursued studies in Business Administration in London, alongside training in acting and philosophy. Her interests include martial arts, dance, travel, acting, yoga, writing, and social volunteering. She speaks Catalan and English fluently. Ivana leads the project “Resilient Outlooks,” focused on suicide prevention and mental health awareness, creating safe spaces for dialogue and emotional support. For her talent, she presents an interpretative monologue centered on resilience and mental health. She defines herself as resilient, empathetic, and inspiring.

Ana Paredes (Lugo)

Ana Paredes, 21, from Lugo, is currently studying Aerospace Engineering in English, with additional certifications from Harvard University and the University of Chicago. Passionate about singing, traveling, social work, and baking, she speaks English at C1 level and basic French. Her social initiative, “Star of Knowledge,” aims to inspire young people toward careers in science, breaking stereotypes and providing educational opportunities for underserved communities. For her talent, she will sing, and she describes herself as brave, visionary, and transformative.

Nuria Jiménez (Madrid) 

Nuria Jiménez, 26, from Madrid, holds a degree in Biotechnology, a Master’s in Genetics and Assisted Reproduction, and is currently pursuing doctoral research in Clinical Genomics. Her interests include dance, fitness, scientific reading, travel, and volunteering in health-related initiatives. Fluent in English and proficient in French, Nuria’s social project focuses on improving early diagnosis of rare and complex diseases through research and innovation, aiming to reduce diagnostic delays. For her talent, she performs a contemporary fusion dance, and she defines herself as disciplined, creative, and intellectual.

Angélica Fernández Caballero (Málaga) 

Angélica Fernández Caballero, 24, from Málaga, has completed studies in Early Childhood Education, currently pursuing a Master’s in Psychopedagogy. She enjoys reading, traveling, sports, and family time, and speaks English at B2 level with basic French. Her social work involves volunteering with Fundación Málaga CF, supporting individuals with functional diversity and promoting values through sport. For her talent, she performs a “Vogue” dance routine, and she describes herself as charismatic, noble, and committed.

Irene Teruel Ruiz (Melilla)

Irene Teruel Ruiz, 18, from Melilla, is completing her secondary education while studying Nursing. She enjoys dancing, singing, and traveling, and speaks basic English. With a naturally warm and positive personality, Irene describes herself as joyful, empathetic, and noble, bringing youthful energy and compassion to her journey.

Laura García Barrera (Murcia) 

Laura García Barrera, 21, from Murcia, is studying Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, alongside formal training in piano and harpsichord at the Conservatory of Murcia. She enjoys hiking, climbing, and spending time with loved ones. With a B1 level of English, her social project involves teaching piano to a child with Down syndrome, using music as a tool for inclusion, development, and self-esteem. For her talent, she will perform on the piano, and she defines herself as unique, joyful, and spontaneous.

Daniela Rodríguez Castillo (Navarra)

Daniela Rodríguez Castillo, 24, from Navarra, studies Law, with a strong academic background in Political Science and International Relations, currently completing advanced postgraduate studies including an MBA. She enjoys dancing, singing, flamenco, playing the cello, and sports such as golf, swimming, and cycling. Fluent in English and learning Italian, Daniela is the founder of “Future in a Loud Voice,” a platform promoting youth leadership, civic participation, and social impact. For her talent, she combines musical performance with cello and flamenco expression, and she defines herself through leadership, purpose, and passion.

Estela Reol (Palencia) 

Estela Reol, 24, from Palencia, holds a degree in Law, currently pursuing a Master’s in Legal Practice. She enjoys sports, reading, and cinema, and speaks English at a B1 level. Her social project focuses on supporting research into rare cancers that still lack effective treatments, working alongside the CRIS Cancer Foundation to raise funds and awareness. Determined and compassionate, she defines herself as perseverant, approachable, and committed.

 Amara Hervás Carezo (País Vasco)

Amara Hervás Cerezo, a 20-year-old representative from País Vasco, is a Tourism student with a background in Humanities who combines cultural curiosity with a strong sense of purpose. Standing at 1.71m, she is passionate about dance, travel, and meaningful connections with family and friends. Fluent in English at a B2 level, Amara is actively involved in the social project “Lazos de Vida,” where she supports children with cancer through emotional care and the collection of toys to brighten their hospital experience. A talented performer, she expresses herself through flamenco and rhythmic gymnastics, embodying the qualities she values most: authenticity, empathy, and resilience.

Hidaknali Araújo (Segovia)

Hidaknali Araújo, 23, representing Segovia, is currently studying Physiotherapy. Passionate about sports and creative expression, she speaks basic English and dedicates her social efforts to supporting elderly people in care homes, offering companionship, attention, and emotional support. A former professional speed skater who competed for Venezuela, she now explores aerial arts, performing a choreography on aerial silks that blends dance, acrobatics, and artistic expression. She describes herself as sensitive, dreamy, and visionary.

Fátima Mogrera (Sevilla) 

Fátima Mogrera, 24, from Seville, has a background in Dramatic Arts while working as a professional model. She enjoys music, horse riding, travel, and the arts, and speaks English at a B1 level. Her social project is rooted in inspiring others through creativity, encouraging people to trust their authenticity, intuition, and inner light through the transformative power of theatre and cinema. For her talent, she presents an audiovisual performance combining acting and body expression, and she embodies a message of empowerment through art.

Milana Kim (Soria)

Milana Kim, 19, representing Soria, studies at the Royal School of Dramatic Arts, holding an academic distinction in Humanities. With interests ranging from horse riding and acrobatics to fencing, piano, and languages, she speaks English and Russian fluently. Her social project uses art as a tool to create safe spaces where children can express themselves, build confidence, and transform fear into strength through theatre. A former professional gymnast, she now performs aerial acrobatics as her talent and defines herself as diverse, deep, and hardworking.

Patricia Ortega (Tarragona)

Patricia Ortega, 27, from Tarragona, holds a degree in Computer Engineering, along with advanced English certification and formal musical training in piano and theory. Passionate about reading, sports, and classical ballet, she speaks English at C2 level and Catalan natively. Her project, “Cyber Education: Together for Digital Safety,” promotes digital education to combat cyberbullying among minors, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. For her talent, she performs on the piano, and she defines herself as committed, tolerant, and humanitarian.

Carla Castro (Tenerife) 

Carla Castro, 24, from Tenerife, holds a degree in Tourism, complemented by a Master’s in International and Digital Marketing. She enjoys flamenco, sports, reading, and fashion, and speaks English at C1 level, with basic Portuguese and German. Her social project, “Forest of Hope,” raises awareness about climate change through reforestation initiatives and environmental education. A former competitive basketball player, she brings discipline and teamwork into her journey and will perform flamenco as her talent. She describes herself as responsible, hardworking, and empathetic.

Erika Florescu (Teruel) 

Erika Florescu, 18, representing Teruel, studies Law while enjoying travel, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She speaks Romanian and English at a B2 level. Her social project aims to raise awareness about psoriasis, a condition she personally lives with, focusing on education and understanding beyond its name to improve how it is perceived and treated. A dedicated athlete for over a decade, she defines herself as empathetic, brave, and demanding of herself.

Judith Barrero Colino (Zamora) 

Judith Barrero Colino, 22, from Zamora, has completed her studies in Humanities while pursuing modeling. She is passionate about animals, motorsports, travel, and discovering new cultures, and speaks basic English. Her social project addresses rural depopulation and the abandonment of regions like Zamora, advocating for greater resources and opportunities. Grounded and resilient, she defines herself as humble, authentic, and strong.

Inés Galve (Zaragoza)

Inés Galve, 24, representing Zaragoza, is a trained nurse with a Master’s in Emergency Care. She speaks English fluently and has a B2 level in French. Dedicated to healthcare and service, she combines her professional commitment with a vibrant personality, describing herself as joyful, determined, and intelligent, bringing both compassion and strength to her journey.
