The reigning Miss World Namibia, Elly Aron, joined Deputy Minister of Industrialization and Trade, Honorable Gaudentia Kröhne, to launch the “Passport to Success” Career Fair and Expo at Five Rand Primary School.

The initiative, organized in partnership with Miss NGO Namibia, focused on early career awareness, education, and youth development.

Opening the event, Deputy Minister Kröhne highlighted the role of primary education in national growth and commended the school’s infrastructure improvements and partnerships. She noted that investment in education is an investment in Namibia’s future workforce and encouraged broader stakeholder involvement.

She also acknowledged the presence of Miss World Namibia 2026, praising her use of the platform to promote social impact among young people. “We commend you for using your platform to drive meaningful change, particularly in advancing important social causes affecting young people. This is the true essence of leadership and service,” she said.

Addressing learners directly, the Deputy Minister urged them to consider future careers in fields such as engineering, science, and business, emphasizing that their decisions today will shape their opportunities ahead.

Elly Aron reinforced the Beauty With a Purpose message through engagement with students, focusing on education as a pathway to opportunity, responsible decision-making, and long-term goal setting. She was accompanied by Jane Muhepa, Miss NGO Namibia 2025 1st Runner-Up.

The event forms part of ongoing efforts to align youth empowerment initiatives with national development priorities and to expand access to career guidance at an early stage.
