Reigning Miss World Malaysia, Tanu Siyaa, joined Beaurev Global’s Tree Planting Event (Program Menanam Pokok Berembang) in collaboration with the Firefly Conservation Centre of Sungai Panjang and the Sabak Bernam District Council.

The activity aimed to protect mangrove ecosystems and firefly habitats while supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including Climate Action (SDG 13), Life Below Water (SDG 14), Life on Land (SDG 15), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).

Each tree planted represents a step towards a greener and more sustainable Malaysia. The initiative also highlighted how fireflies thrive only in healthy mangrove ecosystems, where their glow reflects the balance and cleanliness of the environment.
