Reigning Miss World Kenya, Trizah Muhenje, graced the inaugural HSBC SVNS 2 tournament held at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi, marking an important moment for international rugby in Kenya. The event brought together global teams competing in the opening leg of the HSBC Sevens Challenger series, including Kenya, USA, Belgium, Uruguay, Belgium, Canada (Men’s teams), and Kenya Lionesses, Argentina, China, Spain, South Africa, and Brazil.

During the ceremony, Muhenje had the honor of presenting awards to the tournament winners, Argentina (women’s) and Germany (men’s), alongside Hon. Salim Mvurya, Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports. The competition highlighted Kenya’s growing role as a host of major international sporting events and celebrated the unifying power of rugby across continents.

In a statement shared after the event, Muhenje expressed her appreciation for being part of the occasion: “With immense gratitude, I had the honor of attending this prestigious global rugby awarding ceremony.
