Project focuses on volunteer work in Noto and community-driven support initiatives

Miss World Japan, Yui Kawana, has outlined her Beauty With a Purpose project, centered on disaster response and recovery efforts, following its presentation during the national competition.
Her initiative includes volunteer work in Noto, where she collaborated with the Civil Disaster Volunteer Center “Oratcha Nanao,” supporting local communities alongside residents and relief workers. As part of the project, she also created bracelets symbolizing human connection and mutual support, which were distributed to finalists and stakeholders.
During the competition period, several finalists wore the bracelets during their Beauty With a Purpose presentations and shared the initiative on social media, helping expand awareness of the project.
The representative noted that what began as an individual effort has gradually grown through community support.
Miss World Japan will continue to develop her initiative, with a focus on contributing to communities and connecting acts of service to broader social impact.
