Miss World England 2025, Charlotte Grant, attended a special celebration at the London Hilton, Park Lane, on September 17th to mark two historic milestones: the 80th Anniversary of Vietnam (1945–2025) and the 15th Anniversary of the Vietnam–UK Strategic Partnership.

The event, hosted by the Embassy of Vietnam, brought together hundreds of distinguished guests, including diplomats, artists, and community leaders, to honour the enduring friendship between the two nations.

Guests were treated to a cultural showcase featuring the work of Vietnamese artist Xeo Chu, as well as musical performances. Both Charlotte Grant and Miss England Director Angie Beasley wore the traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai, custom-made using Xeo Chu’s artwork and designed by his mother.

Reflecting on her past visit to Vietnam in 2024, Charlotte said: “I had the most incredible time touring Vietnam. The warm hospitality and the breathtaking beauty of the landscapes were like a dream. We visited some of the country’s most remarkable sights, and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity.”

Miss England Director Angie Beasley added: “Thank you to Tu Anh Dang for inviting Charlotte and myself to this memorable evening. It was such an honour to wear the elegant Ao Dai costume, especially featuring Xeo Chu’s artwork. It was made to measure, fitted perfectly, and we both wore it with pride.”

The evening highlighted the richness of Vietnamese culture and the strong diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the UK, blending heritage, art, and international friendship.
