Miss World Dominican Republic 2025, Joheirry Mola, took part in UNICEF’s “Together For Children” Telethon, which raised USD$24,752,000 to support health, education, and child protection initiatives across the country.

Mola contributed as a reporting correspondent for Univision TV, covering the event and interviewing organizers and participants. She also assisted in monitoring telephone donations and joined activities with children, including dance and music segments, to encourage public engagement. In addition, she used her social media platforms to promote the telethon and increase participation.

Funds raised will support programs aimed at reducing maternal and newborn mortality, addressing childhood malnutrition, and expanding access to inclusive education. The initiative also contributes to efforts tackling early marriages, teenage pregnancies, and child protection.

Following the event, Mola thanked UNICEF Dominican Republic and highlighted the collective effort behind the campaign, noting the impact of unity in supporting children nationwide.

UNICEF Dominican Republic also acknowledged the contribution of all participants and donors, describing the telethon as a significant national effort that mobilised widespread public support.

Mola will represent her country at the 75th Anniversary of Miss World to be held in Vietnam, August 9 to September 5.
