Miss World Czech Republic, Linda Górecka, has donated €2,500 to the Comprehensive Oncology Center at AGEL Hospital in Nový Jičín through her foundation, continuing her commitment to supporting cancer patients and raising awareness across the Czech Republic.

As part of her Beauty With a Purpose project, Linda has been actively fundraising, visiting cancer patients, and working alongside organizations dedicated to breast cancer awareness. She also collaborated with the Alliance for Women with Breast Cancer to help educate contestants competing for the Miss Czech Republic 2026 title about breast cancer prevention and awareness.

The cause is personal for Linda, whose mother is currently receiving treatment for breast cancer at the Comprehensive Oncology Center. Speaking about the donation, she expressed gratitude for the care and compassion shown by the hospital’s medical staff throughout her family’s journey.

“This hospital holds a very special place in my heart because my mother is currently receiving treatment for breast cancer here,” Linda shared. “Throughout this difficult journey, we have experienced not only outstanding medical care but also remarkable kindness, compassion, and support from the entire staff.”

She added that being able to personally visit the hospital and contribute to its work through her foundation was a fulfilling experience and thanked the doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals for their dedication to patients and their families.

Linda will represent the Czech Republic at Miss World’s 75th Anniversary celebrations in Vietnam, from August 9 to September 5.
