Dominican Republic Vice President, South Sudan President and Spain’s Royal Family receive their Miss World representatives ahead of Vietnam.
As the 75th Miss World Festival approaches in Vietnam, several national representatives have been welcomed by the highest authorities in their respective countries, highlighting the prestige of the Miss World platform and the impact of its Beauty With a Purpose initiatives.
Miss World Dominican Republic Joheirry Mola met with Dominican Republic Vice President Raquel Peña, presenting her with a book she authored that celebrates Dominican culture while teaching English to children. The educational project, which has the support of the Vice President, is used in schools serving vulnerable communities. During the meeting, Peña also reaffirmed her interest in welcoming the Miss World Organization for a future official visit following the conclusion of the Festival.
Meanwhile, in South Sudan, Miss World Nyandeng Kerubino Kuanyin Bol was received by President Salva Kiir Mayardit in Juba. The President encouraged her to showcase South Sudan’s rich cultural heritage in Vietnam and wished her success as she prepares to represent the nation at Miss World.
In Spain, Miss World Elisabeth Reynés attended the annual reception hosted by King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia at the Marivent Palace in Mallorca, where she also met Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía. During her conversation with the King, Reynés spoke about the Miss World Festival and the journey she is about to begin in Vietnam, while also sharing details of her Beauty With a Purpose project supporting people with dyslexia. She later described the meeting as one of the most special moments of her reign, saying the Royal Family’s encouragement before her departure meant a great deal to her.
All three will soon travel to Vietnam to be part of the 75th Anniversary Edition of Miss World.
