Miss World Canada Alexa Marie Grant, who will compete at the 74th Miss World Festival, in 2027, has joined forces with the Volunteer Resources team at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital to support Capes for Kids week, a fundraising initiative dedicated to advancing pediatric disability healthcare across Canada. As an active volunteer at the hospital, Alexa is helping raise funds that directly support critical research, programs, and services designed to improve access to care for children with disabilities.

Speaking about the campaign’s progress, Alexa shared that more than $5,000 has already been raised toward the team’s $10,000 goal, emphasizing that every contribution plays a role in shaping a stronger future for young patients nationwide. The initiative highlights the power of community involvement in transforming healthcare outcomes.

With Capes for Kids week approaching, the fundraising momentum continues to grow, inviting supporters across Canada to join in making a meaningful difference in the lives of children who rely on specialized care and rehabilitation.
