Miss World Cameroon Noura Njikam was among the distinguished guests at the Cameroonian Ballon d’Or 2025, an annual ceremony celebrating the best achievements in football across the country.

Organized by the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) under the leadership of football legend Samuel Eto’o, the event recognizes outstanding players, coaches, and rising talents in Cameroonian football. The awards are widely regarded as the country’s most prestigious football honors, highlighting both the men’s and women’s leagues and promoting local talent.

The 2025 edition saw Serge Daura, the 19-year-old striker for Gazelle FA, the Cameroonian Ballon d’Or winner after an exceptional season in the Elite One league, where he finished as top scorer with 15 goals and 11 assists.

In the women’s category, rising star Lys Fraîche Tiwa was awarded the Women’s Ballon d’Or, following a remarkable campaign in the national women’s league in which she also finished as the top scorer.

Other honors presented during the ceremony included Best Coach, awarded to Richard Towa of Colombe Sportive du Sud, recognizing his leadership in guiding the club to the national championship.
