Dr. Carina Tyrrell, Miss England 2014 and a Top 5 finalist at the Miss World Festival held in London, has been officially named a British–Swiss Legend by the British Swiss Chamber of Commerce, recognizing her outstanding contributions to medicine, innovation, and international leadership.

Crowned Miss England before representing her country on the global Miss World stage, Tyrrell has long embodied the essence Beauty With a Purpose. A medical doctor trained at the University of Cambridge, she later completed a PhD in public health and epidemiology. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she played a direct role in the delivery and clinical research of vaccines, contributing to efforts that would help protect millions worldwide.

Beyond frontline medicine, Dr. Tyrrell has worked at the intersection of science, global health, and investment, supporting innovation in biotechnology and healthcare systems.
