On December 7, the Comité National Miss Togo celebrated the 30th edition of the Miss Togo pageant, culminating in the coronation of Angèle Prudence Eyou as Miss Togo 2026. Angèle will represent Togo at the 74th Miss World Festival, in 2027. 

A 21-year-old accounting student from the Plateaux region, Angèle impressed the jury with her elegance and her thoughtful reflections, notably on the importance of human qualities in an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence.

Angèle was crowned by Nadiratou Afolabi, who in 2026 will represent Togo at the 73rd Miss World Festival.

The event marked 30 years of the election of Miss Togo. An interesting fact is that though it was launched in 1995, Togo started competing in Miss World in 2024.

Geneviève Épiphanie Téno  was the 1st runner-up (1ᵉʳᵉ dauphine), Mawuena Bienvenue Lawson Latré placed as 2nd runner-up (2ème dauphine), and rounding out the Top 5 were Fleur Assogba Ilétou (3ème dauphine) et Salé Djamila (4ème dauphine).

As part of the anniversary celebrations, the Miss Togo Committee presented, in preview, the documentary “La Couronne à travers les générations”, which retraces 30 years of history, commitment and transmission through the journeys of those who have shaped Miss Togo across generations. The film pays tribute to a vision and to personal destinies whose impact extends far beyond the crown.
