Miss World Gibraltar joins charity walk in support of cancer patients and abandoned animals

Miss Gibraltar 2025, Julia Horne, attended her first charity event since being crowned, joining the Paws for a Cause Charity Walk in Gibraltar. The event was organised by Cancer Relief Gibraltar and the Animals In Need Foundation (AINF), raising funds and awareness for both causes.

“This was my very first charity event as Miss Gibraltar and I feel truly privileged to begin my journey supporting two causes so close to my heart,” Julia said. With Cancer Relief chosen as her Beauty with a Purpose charity, she pledged to continue supporting more initiatives throughout her reign.

The walk saw participants accompanied by their dogs, highlighting the community spirit and the dual purpose of the fundraiser: supporting cancer patients and families through Cancer Relief’s free services, and helping abandoned and vulnerable animals cared for by AINF.

Julia has also announced upcoming fundraising events for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, including her “Sweat for a Cause” charity classes, which are already filling up.

Both Cancer Relief Gibraltar and the Animals In Need Foundation rely heavily on community support and donations to continue their vital work.

Well done, Julia!
