Reigning Miss England Grace Richardson and Miss World England 2025 Charlotte Grant have been honored by the World Book of Records UK during the annual BOPA Humanitarian Tour currently taking place in India.

The recognition was presented at the Cordia Group of Education Institute in the presence of distinguished representatives, with the certificate received on behalf of the Miss England Organization by Grace Richardson, from Leicester, alongside Charlotte Grant, from Liverpool, who represented England at the 72nd Miss World Festival.

This distinction acknowledges Miss England’s continued dedication to humanitarian causes, social outreach, and global goodwill initiatives. Through its participation in programes such as the BOPA Humanitarian Tour, the organization has reinforced its role as a platform for advocacy, cultural exchange, and positive social impact.

Throughout the two-week tour, the titleholders have been actively engaged in a series of charitable visits, including the Eknoor Charity Trust in Amritsar and the Unique Home for Girls in Jalandhar, a sanctuary for abandoned young girls. The later, founded in 1993, provides care, education, and a future for children who might otherwise be left behind.

Grace, who will compete at the 75th Anniversary Edition of Miss World later this year, shared:

“Today these girls taught me about their lives, their culture, and their strength. I shared stories, hope, love and respect. It’s a day I will always carry with me.”

The delegation also visited the Youth Football Club in Rurka Kalan, a community-driven initiative using sport as a tool for development, education, and sustainability. The center’s work in water recycling, solar energy, and environmental awareness closely aligns with Grace’s “Beauty With a Purpose” project, Every Drop Counts, which focuses on water conservation and global sustainability in partnership with the Vayyu Foundation.

Additional engagements included visits to schools, an eye hospital providing essential care, and cultural landmarks such as the Golden Temple in Amritsar and the Taj Mahal, moments that further strengthened the bonds of cultural understanding and global friendship.

The certificates were presented by Jasvir Singh Shinda, Vice President of World Book of Records, and Gurpreet Singh, Chartered Officer. Santosh Shukla, President and CEO of World Book of Records London, praised the initiative, stating:

“The inspirational work carried out by Miss England and BOPA in India, visiting orphanages, schools, and highlighting charities in need, is truly commendable.”

Back in the UK, Miss England Director Angie Beasley also celebrated the recognition:
