The event supported abandoned and vulnerable girls in India and will also help provide access to washable sanitary pads through her BWAP project, “Every Drop Counts.”

Miss England Grace Richardson recently hosted a fundraising event, raising £1,100 for the Eknoor Trust in Amritsar, Punjab. The event, held on Bank Holiday Monday, May 25, featured live performances, reception drinks, and a three-course meal.
The Eknoor Trust provides housing, education, medical care, and support for young girls who have been abandoned or neglected due to gender discrimination. Grace first visited the organization during the British Organization of People of Asian Origin (BOPA) Humanitarian Tour of India, where she donated school supplies and pledged financial support.
Following the visit, Richardson and the Miss England team committed to expanding their support for the charity. In a message shared on social media, Grace said the experience at Eknoor had changed her perspective and inspired her to continue helping children in vulnerable situations.
She also announced that, through her Beauty With a Purpose project “Every Drop Counts,” the Eknoor Trust will receive washable sanitary pads for girls and staff in the coming months, made possible through donations and project partnerships.
