This month the reigning Miss Côte d’Ivoire, Fatima Koné, was featured on the cover of Sash Magazine in an editorial released in celebration of International Women’s Day.

On the cover, Fatima wears a sculptural hairstyle shaped as the number “8”, an emblem representing infinity. The concept reflects the magazine’s central message: that the strength, resilience, and potential of women are limitless.

Accompanied by the theme “8 March: The Infinite Power of the Feminine,” the special edition highlights the idea that womanhood is defined by an enduring identity “sculpted in strength.” The editorial further describes Fatima as “the face of boundless resilience”.

Sash Magazine emphasizes the transformative power of women, celebrating those who turn challenges into opportunities and obstacles into stepping stones toward success. One of the key messages reads: “A strong woman does not ask for her place, she creates it.”

Fatima Koné’s presence on the cover also carries a message of national pride, encouraging women across Côte d’Ivoire to embrace their “invisible crown” and walk with purpose and dignity.

Today, after releasing new photos, Fatima Koné extended her warm wishes to the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid, sharing the following message: 

“On this festive day, I wish a wonderful Eid celebration to the entire Muslim community. May this day be marked by sharing, love, and peace.”

Fatima will represent Côte d’Ivoire at the upcoming Miss World Festival, later this year.
