Mireia Lalaguna, the 65th Miss World, crowned in 2015 representing Spain, attended the red carpet premiere of L’Isola di Andrea (“Andrea’s Island”) during the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.
“Cinema, glamour e una notte di magia veneziana! Honored to attend the Venice Film Festival once again, this time for the premiere of ‘Silent Friend’ and “Andrea’s Island’.

The 2025 Venice Film Festival, held from August 27 to September 6 on the Lido, showcased a powerful mix of cinema and politics, with Jim Jarmusch’s Father Mother Sister Brother winning the Golden Lion and Kaouther Ben Hania’s The Voice of Hind Rajab earning the Grand Jury Prize after a record 23-minute ovation. Benny Safdie won Best Director for The Smashing Machine, while acting honors went to Toni Servillo (La Grazia) and Xin Zhilei (The Sun Rises on Us All). The festival also featured Guillermo del Toro’s much-anticipated Frankenstein, greeted with a lengthy ovation, and honored Werner Herzog and Kim Novak with Lifetime Achievement Awards. With premieres from Yorgos Lanthimos, Noah Baumbach, Luca Guadagnino, and Kathryn Bigelow, Venice 2025 cemented its role as a stage where art, activism, and global storytelling converge.

And of course, there was all the glamour of stars walking the red carpet, including our stunning Mireia Lalaguna.
