20-Year-Old Economics Student to Represent Poland at the 73rd Miss World Final

In a celebration of beauty, talent, and purpose, Maja Todd was crowned Miss Polonia 2025 during a TVP2 televised gala at the ATM Studio in Warsaw.
The 20-year-old student from the Warsaw School of Economics now holds the title of Miss World Poland and will go on to represent her country at the 73rd Miss World Festival, in 2026. Her father, John Todd, a television presenter and TVP World correspondent. TVP World is an international 24‑hour news channel delivered entirely in English, operated by Telewizja Polska.

Born in Poland and raised between Great Britain and Katowice (Poland), Maja is as passionate about purpose as she is about performance. A talented singer inspired by soul and R&B music, she also claimed the Miss Polonia Talent title. She also has a background in competitive swimming. Maja currently works as a certified lifeguard.
“I am so happy! I have no words to express my emotions,” said a visibly moved Maja Todd moments after her crowning. “It’s amazing. I still can’t believe I have the crown on my head.”
Maja Klajda, the reigning Miss World Europe.The Miss Polonia amber crown was passed down by Maja Klajda, Miss Polonia 2024 and 2nd runner-up at Miss World 2025, who is also the reigning Miss World Europe. The other Maja shared words of encouragement with her successor.
“Miss Polonia is not just a title. it’s a mission, a journey to inspire and give strength to others,” Klajda said. “I wish Maja to wear the crown with pride, heart, and the awareness that beauty must always walk hand in hand with goodness.”
This year’s edition featured 24 finalists, selected from across Poland and the Polish diaspora, including three contestants from the Polish American community in Chicago.

The 1st runner-up was Julia Luczak, while the 2nd runner-up was Justyna Roguska.
They were evaluated by a prestigious jury led by Jagoda Piątek-Włodarczyk, director of the Miss Polonia Organization.

- Karolina Bielawska, the 70th Miss World
- Maja Klajda, the reigning Miss World Europe and Miss World’s 2nd runner-up
- Agata Biernat, Miss Polonia 2017
- Rafał Maślak and Rafał Jonkisz, titleholders of Mr World Poland
- Designer Dorota Kuźnicka
- Organizer Igor Włodarczyk
The gala was hosted by Ewa Jakubiec, Miss Polonia 2023, and Błażej Stencel, known for presenting Wheel of Fortune. Musical performances were delivered by Anna Iwanek, Dominik Dudek, and Filip Lato.
Beauty With a Message

As part of the competition’s commitment to social causes, Dominika Żak was named this year’s Miss Beauty with a Message, recognizing her efforts to promote meaningful initiatives.
The Miss Polonia Foundation, established in 2024 to mark the competition’s 95th anniversary, continues to champion charitable projects, assist those in need, and promote positive values and women’s empowerment.
Igor Włodarczyk, the Polish Licence Holder for Miss World, said: “Miss Polonia is a platform to celebrate history, deliver a message, and redefine beauty in all its forms.”
Maja Todd now joins a distinguished sisterhood of women who have worn the amber crown with pride and purpose, ready to take Poland’s voice to the world.
