Miss World Hungary 2025 Title Goes to 17-Year-Old Student from Mosonmagyaróvár

At just 17 years old, Janka Végvári, a high school student from Mosonmagyaróvár, was crowned Miss World Hungary 2025 during a spectacular live finale of the Magyarország Szépe (Beauty of Hungary) contest, broadcast on national television.
Janka impressed both the jury and the audience with her natural intelligence and commitment to social causes. She also won the Miss Charity title for her volunteer work and advocacy.

Currently studying advanced English, Janka is described as poised, thoughtful, and passionate about making a difference. Now, she prepares to represent Hungary on the global stage at the 73rd Miss World Final, which will happen in 2026.
“It’s a dream come true. I hope to be a voice for young women and inspire others through kindness and dedication,” she said after her crowning moment.
The competition saw 16 well-accomplished finalists take part in themed rounds, including sportswear, national costumes, and evening gowns.

Alongside Janka, the top three were: Eszter Emőke Veress (22, Budapest), the First Runner-Up. Dorka Kata Csapó (24, Törökszentmiklós), the Second Runner-Up. Doroti Tokodi was the Audience Favorite.
The grand finale also celebrated Hungarian fashion, featuring designs by Millaas Fashion and Orsoya Darchi, and placed strong focus on social impact initiatives, aligning with Miss World’s “Beauty With a Purpose”.

With her national crown, Janka Végvári steps into the international spotlight as Hungary’s official representative at the 73rd Miss World Festival, where she’ll join over 100 women from across the globe. The reigning Miss World is Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand.
Hungary made its debut at Miss World in 1989, a landmark year that coincided with the country’s historic political transformation and the fall of communism. The nation’s first representative on the Miss World stage was Magdolna Gerlóczy. Hungary’s most remarkable Miss World performance came in 2014, when Edina Kulcsár was named 1st runner-up, achieving the country’s best-ever result at Miss World to date.
Congratulations to the new Miss World Hungary!
