A nurse and medical student, Suwaida Bugeja will represent Malta at the 74th Miss World Festival

Suwaida Bugeja was crowned Miss World Malta 2025 in a spectacular ceremony held on June 5 at the iconic Villa Bighi. The event celebrated beauty, purpose, and the extraordinary talents of young Maltese women.

A total of nine finalists competed for the coveted title, with Suwaida emerging as the winner.

Suwaida is a nurse, a medical student pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor, and a professional model. Her victory sends a powerful message about the strength and versatility of women who balance careers of service and passion with elegance and purpose.

The event was organized by Claudia Calleja and Sue Rossi, and hosted by Keith Demicoli and Natalia Galea.

Suwaida shared an inspiring message dedicated to all those who face adversity:

“To everyone who has a dream, especially those facing obstacles, fear, and moments of doubt, it takes courage to keep going, but your fire is stronger than you think, and it’s meant to shine. Never give up.”

Suwaida will now represent Malta at the 74th Miss World Festival, where she will proudly carry her nation’s flag. She was crowned by Nicole Spiteri, who’s yet to represent her country at the 73rd Miss World Festival.

Congratulations!
