Alexa Marie Grant to represent Canada at the 74th Miss World Festival, in 2027

The City Playhouse Theatre in Toronto, Ontario set the stage for the evening when 21 contestants from across the Canada competed for the title of Miss World Canada 2025.
The crown went to 24-year-old Alexa Marie Grant, a Financial Tech Consultant with an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business. Beyond her professional achievements, Alexa is also a freelance model and stage performer, impressively skilled in playing six different musical instruments.

She won three awards before winning the main title, including the Talent Fast Track, the Miss Congeniality award, and the prestigious Beauty with a Purpose challenge. Her winning project, Modified Melodies, was inspired by her own personal health journey and focuses on creating adaptive instruments for children with disabilities. Through this initiative, Alexa has led fundraising efforts and developed hospital partnerships to ensure inclusive access to music for young patients.

“When I was 8 years old, I experienced a serious case of HSP, Henoch–Schönlein purpura, a rare autoimmune disease that left me unable to walk and temporarily confined to a wheelchair. I was taken out of school, and for the first time, I experienced what it was like to navigate the world differently. I was so confused and felt so alone that playing the piano became my sole escape,” Alexa shared, reflecting on the origins of her project.

The new Miss World Canada was joined by a strong court. Aalanna Rusnak, winner of the Sports Challenge, was named First Runner-Up, while Alexandra Sinyanskiy finished as Second Runner-Up. The Top 8 finalists also included Alivia Croal, Elenna Collins, Aidan Gurung, Riya Gautam, and Olivia Loo.
With her crown secured, Alexa Grant will represent Canada at the 74th Miss World Festival in 2027.
Congratulations!
