Faith Edgar, from San Pedro and a dentistry student, will represent Belize at the 73rd Miss World Festival, in 2026

Faith Edgar, from San Pedro, Ambergris Caye island, was crowned Miss World Belize 2025 on June 14th, earning the honor of representing her nation at the 73rd Miss World Festival in 2026.

At 23 years old, Faith is dedicated to community service and education. Currently pursuing her degree in dentistry, the new Miss World Belize is the founder of “Smiles for Belize”, a Beauty With a Purpose initiative focused on improving access to dental health care in underserved communities throughout the country.

“Being crowned Miss World Belize 2025 is not just a title. It is a responsibility, a dream realized, and a tribute to every person who believed in me, even when I struggled to believe in myself,” Faith shared on social media following her coronation.

A passionate dental care advocate and athlete, Faith has proven herself both on land and at sea. She thrives as a volleyball player, competes as a sailor, and finds peace near the ocean that raised her. Her story is one of resilience, compassion, and determination, qualities she now brings to the global Miss World stage.

“On Saturday night, I stood on a stage not just as a contestant, but as a daughter of this country. A country that raised me by the rhythm of the sea, guided by the love of a small island, and strengthened by every challenge that shaped me,” she added.

As Miss World Belize 2025, Faith aims to be a voice for positive change, not only through her platform in dental health, but also in the way she carries her Belizean roots with pride and purpose.

The ILS Phoenix Corporation, organizers of the pageant, praised Edgar’s performance, stating, “We are confident that she will represent Belize on the world stage with strength, poise, and a commitment to her Beauty With a Purpose project.”

The nation now rallies behind her as she prepares to take her message, her mission, and her smile to the world.

Congratulations!
