Cha Minseo (차민서) was crowned Miss World Korea 2026, earning the right to represent South Korea (Republic of Korea) at the upcoming Miss World 2026, the 75th Anniversary Edition of the Miss World Festival. The national final took place on 4 March 2026 at CG Art Hall in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, gathering contestants from across the country.

Cha Minseo, 20, is currently a student of International Trade at Yonsei University.

The title of Miss World Korea is awarded through a national contest organized by Miss Queen Korea, which selects the country’s representative for the Miss World competition. It has been responsible for choosing South Korea’s delegates to Miss World since 2011.

South Korea debuted in the Miss World competition in 1959, represented by Seo Jung-ae. The country achieved its best result so far in 1989, when Choi Yeon-hee came very close to the crown, finishing as 1st Runner-up. Cha Minseo’s participation also marks the return of South Korea to the Miss World stage after an absence in 2025.

Congratulations!
