Miss World Serbia Simona Manojlović is raising awareness about addiction prevention and the importance of strong family relationships through Family is Strength: Choose Life. Together., her Beauty With a Purpose initiative dedicated to educating young people, parents, and communities.

The project addresses a wide range of addictions affecting today’s society, including alcohol, drugs, prescription medication, gambling, excessive internet use, social media, and video games. As part of the initiative, Simona organized a public panel discussion at the Eđšeg Cultural Station in Novi Sad, bringing together experts in psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, sociology, and gender equality to discuss prevention, early recognition of warning signs, healthy family communication, and the importance of seeking professional help.

Beyond the educational forum, Simona has expanded the campaign through media appearances and social media, encouraging families to speak openly about addiction and to seek support without fear of stigma. She has also developed educational materials and keepsakes carrying the project’s message, helping spread awareness about the vital role of love, trust, unity, and understanding within families.

The initiative has been implemented in partnership with the Provincial Institute for Gender Equality, the Eđšeg Cultural Station, mental health professionals, and the Miss Serbia Organization, benefiting young people, parents, vulnerable families, and communities across Serbia through education and prevention.

Miss World will take place in Vietnam from August 9 to September 5, with the Grand Final scheduled for September 5 in Nha Trang.
