Miss World Scotland Eilidh MacDonald Supports Hospice Care Through Fundraising and Community Service

Hospice care is at the heart of Miss World Scotland Eilidh MacDonald’s Beauty With a Purpose project, after years of hands-on volunteering, fundraising, and advocacy for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Scotland.
Throughout her journey, Eilidh has dedicated her time to supporting hospice events, offering companionship to patients and their loved ones, and helping raise awareness of the vital role hospices play within local communities. Alongside her volunteering, she has organized and participated in numerous fundraising initiatives, including charity walks, gala events, auctions, raffles, and community campaigns that have generated significant support for hospice services.
One of her standout achievements was organizing a charity lunch that raised more than £6,100 for St Andrew’s Hospice through ticket sales, donations, raffles, auctions, and games. She has also volunteered at Kilbryde Hospice fundraising events, helping raise additional funds while encouraging greater community involvement in palliative care.
Beyond fundraising, Eilidh contributes practical support through clothing donations and textile recycling initiatives that generate sustainable income for charitable organizations. She has also used her social media platforms and local media appearances to promote hospice care, encouraging others to volunteer and support families facing some of life’s most difficult moments.
Her work has benefited St Andrew’s Hospice, Kilbryde Hospice, and Share a Wee Food Bank.
From August 9 to September 5, Eilidh will represent Scotland at the 75th Anniversary Edition of the Miss World Festival in Vietnam.
