Miss World Cook Islands Tiare Henry-Anguna is using her Beauty With a Purpose platform to inspire the next generation through the Ei Katu Project, a youth empowerment initiative rooted in Cook Islands culture and traditions.  

Inspired by the traditional Cook Islands Ei Katu, where every flower contributes to the beauty and strength of the whole, the project encourages young women to develop five core pillars: Identity, Resilience, Leadership, Service, and Purpose.

Drawing from her own journey of loss, personal growth, and leadership, Henry-Anguna delivers culturally grounded workshops, mentoring opportunities, community service activities, and personal development experiences designed to help young women recognize their strengths, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

Her long-term vision is for the Ei Katu Project to grow beyond her Miss World journey and become a lasting movement supporting future generations of young women throughout the Cook Islands.

The initiative works alongside Cook Islands schools, youth groups, government agencies, tourism organizations, cultural groups, and community partners. Among its collaborations are the Cook Islands Parliament, the National Youth Council’s Youth Parliament, the Ministry of Cultural Development, the National Environment Service, the Cook Islands Tourism Corporation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ White Ribbon Day campaign, Punanga Turuturu Itivaine, and Akauka Time.

Henry-Anguna, who was crowned Miss Cook Islands 2025 after dedicating her victory to her late father, will represent the nation at the 75th Miss World Anniversary Festival in Vietnam from August 9 to September 5.
