The reigning Miss World United States continues her nationwide mission to inspire young minds through education

In celebration of Read Across America, reigning Miss World United States and Top 20 Finisher at the 72nd Miss World Festival, held in 2025 in Telangana, spent the day engaging with students at a local primary school, encouraging a love of books and lifelong learning through the power of reading.
The nationwide literacy initiative, led by the National Education Association, takes place annually to promote reading among children across the country. As a guest reader in San Diego, Crosby joined educators in highlighting the vital role literacy plays in academic growth and personal development.

During her visit, Crosby read Happy Dreamer by Peter H. Reynolds, a beloved children’s book celebrating creativity, individuality, and dreaming big. The story resonated with students, inspiring them to embrace who they are and believe in their potential.

“Reading is one of the most powerful tools we can give our children,” Crosby shared. “Books teach children how to dream, but they also teach them how to think, solve problems, and understand the world around them.” Through her participation in Read Across America, the US representative reaffirmed her commitment to youth empowerment, education, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to dream and read without limits.
