After making history, Lamis Redissi strengthens her mission with hands-on initiatives in education, healthcare, and social inclusion.

After her historic participation in Miss World, reigning Miss World Tunisia, Lamis Redissi, has not slowed down her Beauty With a Purpose mission. By reaching the Miss World’s overall Top 20 in Telangana and the Top 5 in Africa, Tunisia celebrated its best Miss World performance since 1957, when Jacqueline Tapia-Boyle placed 3rd runner-up. Honoring this milestone, she has continued her social impact work through a series of meaningful initiatives across the country.

When visiting the Association Arc-En-Ciel (Children with Down Syndrome), Miss World Tunisia spent time engaging directly with children through creative activities such as colouring sessions, fostering meaningful moments of connection and joy. She also met with educators to learn about daily challenges and reaffirmed her commitment to inclusion and supporting children with special needs.

Throughout October, Redissi actively joined national breast cancer campaigns, including activities led by the Interact Club Gracès El Mourouj and the Tunisian Association for Breast Cancer Assistance. These initiatives promoted prevention, early detection, and support for women affected by breast cancer, bringing hope and solidarity to Tunisian women.

On November 8th, she took part in a major health caravan in the rural region of Bazina - the Health Caravan with the Tunisian Association Against Cancer (ATCC). The project offered essential medical consultations, including general medicine, endocrinology, dentistry, along with breast and cervical cancer screening. Meeting families with limited healthcare access reinforced the importance of community support and prevention.

Lamis has also been invited to the Days of India and Diwali Reception hosted by Dr. Devyani Uttam Khobragade, Ambassador of India to Tunisia. The event provided a unique opportunity to connect with ambassadors from several countries in a warm, culturally rich environment. She highlighted the special place India holds in her heart after her Miss World experience, praising its culture, light, and unmatched hospitality.

Miss World Tunisia remains committed to amplifying and supporting initiatives that promote inclusion, healthcare access, and dignity for communities across her country, inspiring others and truly making a difference in her community.
