The Miss World Australia organization is stepping into a vibrant new era under the leadership of Kristen Wright, Miss World Australia and Miss World Oceania 2024. With a fresh vision rooted in empowerment, purpose, and modern Australian values, Wright and her team are reimagining the national program to shine brighter than ever home and on the global Miss World stage.

From November 17 to 20, Melbourne will host the Miss World Australia National Final Week, culminating in the glittering “Blooming in Spring” Gala at The Promenade Docklands. There, the reigning queen Jasmine Stringer, who was also crowned Miss World Oceania earlier this year, will pass the crown to her successor in a night that promises to bring plenty of innovation.

But this year, it’s about much more than one night.

The 2025 national program has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the core pillars of Miss World: Beauty with a Purpose, Talent, Top Model, Multimedia, Sport, and Head-to-Head Challenge, with a uniquely Australian flavor. Each state winner (Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia) will represent their region in a structure mirroring Miss World’s continental format.

The Challenges Ahead

During National Final Week, finalists will face a series of creative, intellectual, and physical challenges, from the Head-to-Head Debate hosted at one of Melbourne’s top universities, to the Sports & Fitness Challenge at a leading CrossFit gym. The Top Model & Designer Showcase will celebrate Australian fashion and confidence, while the Talent Evening and Multimedia Challenge will highlight individuality and digital storytelling.

Every step of the way, the program emphasizes advocacy, grace, and giving back. In partnership with Variety, the Children’s Charity, each finalist leads a Beauty with a Purpose project that directly supports children facing illness or disadvantage, bringing the Miss World mission to life across Australia’s states and territories.

The Bali Experience 

Adding a sparkling touch to this new era, Miss World Australia has announced an exclusive partnership with Karma Kandara, a world-class resort perched above the cliffs of Uluwatu, Bali. The newly crowned Miss World Australia 2025 and State Winners will enjoy a six-night luxury retreat designed not only as a celebration of achievement but also as an opportunity to give back, supporting charitable initiatives such as the Bali Life Foundation.

From professionally filmed Head-to-Head sessions to high-fashion runway showcases, the 2025 program will place Australia firmly in the global Miss World spotlight. The Finalists

Kristen and her team have traveled extensively across Australia over the past months, hosting casting calls, workshops, and media events from Sydney to Perth in search of the nation’s most inspiring young women. Their mission: to find finalists who embody intelligence, heart, and purpose, women who represent the modern Australian spirit.
