As the name suggests, our "Green" team was actually a "Dream" team. Pageants are not always about being competitive, proving that you're better that the other contestants or showing your superiority (in any way), its actually about learning, teaching/applying what you've learnt and forming a life long relationship (friendship). As cliché as it might sound but I actually gained really good friends through this platform. Well, I'll show my favorite moments from miss world in the next article where I bond with other beautiful ladies. But for now, lets talk about my team, OUR team.
There are four teams in Miss World every year- Green, Blue, Red and Yellow. Nepal for this year was kept in the green team. As much as I would love to share this, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of Miss World with the ladies. Everyone had stories to tell and lessons to learn from those stories. There were moments where we had to be on our toes (some private problematic moments), we HAD to help...rather DEPEND on each other and guess what?! We happily did. Everyone had each other's back which teared everyone up later with tears of joy and contentment. I am very sure the moment we had together with our green team, every group at Miss World must have had a similar good experience. The platform is such...we just can't resist being there for each other.
To my GREEN TEAM - THE DREAM TEAM. I love each and every one of you and all of your images are imprinted in my heart forever.
