The above statement holds true in every regard. We often think about competition when we talk about pageants but what we forget is that each contestant in any pageant comes with a purpose. She has a vision, either to win or to learn. 

Of course everyone wants to win the title, the crown, the position but everyone also comes prepared to make changes- positive ones for that matter. One can't imagine what impact pageant candidates/winners can have on general public. 

With Miss World and its platform, I believe all of us (the contestants) have been able to leave a positive mark in our society, community and nation. We have the potential and courage to look beyond competition for the sake of contribution and this makes me immensely proud to be called a part of MISS WORLD!
