"Nepal wins the title of Beauty With A Purpose in Miss World 2013"

I was nearly 17 when I first came across this news, that NEPAL won a major title at Miss World. As a pageant aspirant I got intrigued and started doing my research. True...Nepal did win a title but what I came to know was Nepal had won hearts too... With Miss Nepal 2013 spreading awareness about oral hygiene and its importance in rural areas I got to know what a pageant can do both globally and locally. At that age, all I could think about was the pageant but as I grew up I actually started to see the power a national title holder has in terms of working on their Purpose.

Beauty With A Purpose since then has been a true purpose for each Miss Nepal crowned every year and I am no exception to that.

For me, this title is a drop in a vast ocean that spreads its effects like ripples. More than 100 individuals working in their individual communities with hundreds of other individuals ALL AT ONCE. How incredible is that! 

I will be writing my heart out about the project that I believed in that turned out to be my purpose in the next article. Brace yourself!
