Growing up I experienced poverty and hunger, A basic, like food and water was never easily accessible.
In my life, I have seen hunger and I have seen Thirst, therefore I stand for advocating for change in my country by influencing a generation, educating them on the importance of what we have in our hands and what we can do with that.
Namibia is a semi-desert country, driest next to the Sahara desert. Our Population is 2.5 mil people of which 1.6 suffers from poverty.
My passion remains as Miss Namibia World to advocate for real change in what I grew up to see as a disadvantage but to be able to rise up and stand on this platform to bring real change to the life's who just like me deserve a chance to rise up from those circumstances.
Therefore I Have now opened up a trust, the "Annerie Desert Sustainability Development Trust" That gives young entrepreneurs and farmers the opportunity for education and development.
