Miss World Namibia 2021’s Beauty with a Purpose will focus on Food Security and Clean water for her community.

Annerie Maré, Miss World Namibia 2021 is from Kamanjab a village of 6,000 people in the Kunene region of Namibia. Annerie has been visiting the resettlement with the Mayor of Kamanjab to see the work they can do to improve the lives of this community.

Many of the families Annerie visited live in one small hut, have no employment and rely on drought relief that comes in once a month. The children have no access to education and the lack of water means they spend their days walking 3km to get water for their families and livestock.
