Hello! Thank you for entering my blog - Let me tell you a story...
Once upon a time there was a little girl who had the great good luck to found out the right book at the right moment for her. She was only eleven years old, and her grand mother had read to her poems and fairytales since she was born, and those moments were invaluable, but she was an only child and she longed company for her; also her greatgrandmother has died recently and she was sad because of the latest new of the not perdurance of the people she loved. But one day she got a gift from her mom, it was an amaizing gift. One that every child in the world should have access to. That day she got a book and that book chaged everything for her.
She found an immense universe full of color and light. She found herself loving to read every afternoon after school, diving into every amaizing story the pages told her.
I believe she was reborn that day, because she found herself, and she found her purpose.
That little girl is me. And now I had become a graduate in literature and since a few years ago I managed to create Once Upon a Time, my non profit organizartion to help children in rural communities to have their own libraries at their local schools so they can reimagine their lives throug literature and education. Now, my purpose is to make sure every child gets that same gift.
