‘Nou Later Nou Lafors’ took a significant leap towards environmental sustainability and self-sufficiency, thanks to Duraco's generous sponsorship of innovative rainwater tanks. This brings a new dimension to the project, encouraging participants to harvest rainwater for irrigation of their crops.

Months of meticulous discussions and site visits were conducted to identify the feasibility of installing rainwater tanks in the participants' yard or rooftop spaces. The sponsorship not only addresses concerns of water wastage but also provides a vital water supply during drier seasons. This initiative emphasises the importance of environmental consciousness and aims to encourage self-sustainability of women in Sainte Croix.
