Liza Gundowry, Miss World Mauritius, accompanied by an expert in the field, undertakes site visits to the homes of participants of the ‘Nou Later Nou Lafors’ project, with the purpose of assessing the available space in participants' gardens or rooftops.

Following the site visits, participants were provided with the necessary equipment to kickstart their journey towards self-sufficiency. This collaborative approach emphasises the community-driven nature of the initiative.

In addition to implementing yard and rooftop gardening, Liza aims to introduce an innovative edge to the project by encouraging participants to harvest rainwater for watering their crops. This not only helps prevent water wastage, but also contributes significantly to the self-sustainability of the project's participants.
