I had the privilege of conducting free mental health education sessions for over 100 students, aged 11-19, from marginalised communities in a particular area. Many of these students had experienced profound losses—losing one or both parents at a young age, being abandoned by their parents, experiencing abuse, and lacking the support systems needed to achieve their dreams. Through my mental health education programme with my project UnmaskYourself, I was able to provide them with the tools and knowledge to navigate these challenges. I am deeply passionate about helping younger generations develop emotional resilience, as I believe it's crucial for managing mental health and overcoming life's obstacles. One of the most meaningful moments for me was when the students felt comfortable enough to connect on a personal level and share their stories with me. Despite our diverse backgrounds, we quickly formed a bond that I will always treasure. It’s a powerful reminder of the beauty of human connection.❤️
