Today for the Beauty with a Purpose presentation, I felt delighted, surreal and honoured to speak about the journey that I have been working on for the past 18 months; elevating awareness and enlightening the path towards acceptance and inclusion for the autistic community that has been so close to my heart.
In just 18 months, Making Sense Malaysia has touched the hearts of many. With over RM 30,000 raised for support, 1,000 university students inspired, over 300 autistic children lives enriched, and more than half a million listeners reached, we have journeyed 3,000 kilometres across 8 states to spread hope and understanding. This is more than numbers; it's a testament to our shared belief in acceptance and equality.
I urge each one of us to become ambassadors of acceptance in our own communities. Let us create a ripple effect of understanding, compassion, and love. Remember, the human connection is a magical experience that transcends boundaries and labels. Let's celebrate our differences, for in doing so, we illuminate the path towards a world where everyone is valued, cherished, and accepted for who they are.
