Forbes 30 under 30.
It's with great pride and humility that I share my journey from being crowned Miss World Lebanon 2023 to earning a coveted spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. My name is Yasmina, and I've dedicated myself to advocating for greater access to education and healthcare services for young women in Lebanon.
From the moment I received the Miss World Lebanon title, I knew it was an opportunity not just for personal glory, but for meaningful impact. Lebanon, like many countries, faces numerous challenges, particularly when it comes to empowering its youth, especially young women. I couldn't turn a blind eye to these issues, so I decided to use my platform to make a difference.
One of my proudest achievements has been establishing a mentorship program for young women in Lebanon. I firmly believe in the power of mentorship to unlock potential and provide guidance in navigating life's challenges. Through this program, I've been able to support and uplift countless young women, helping them realize their dreams and ambitions.
In addition to my mentorship program, I've taken on ambassadorial roles for the Lebanese Food Bank and the Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon. These organizations are doing incredible work in our community, and I'm honored to lend my voice to their causes. Whether it's raising awareness or fundraising, I'm committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.
My recent three-week tour of the United States was another milestone in my journey. I had the opportunity to meet with leaders and influencers, advocating for greater international support for Lebanon at the United Nations. It was a humbling experience to see firsthand the impact of my advocacy efforts and to know that I'm making a difference on a global scale.
Being recognized by Forbes as one of the 30 Under 30 is a tremendous honor, but it's also a reminder of the work that still lies ahead. I'm more determined than ever to continue pushing for change, to break down barriers, and to create a more equitable world for all. My journey is far from over, but I'm grateful for every opportunity to make a positive impact and to inspire others to do the same.
