Hello, I am Miss World Korea, Kim Lijin. Under the theme of "One Earth, One Family, One Future," I would like to discuss climate change, especially abnormal climate phenomena, which is currently my main concern. 

Combining human-induced warming with phenomena like the super El Niño, this winter in South Korea is marked by severe cold and heavy snowfall. Experiencing these abnormal climate patterns in Korea has sparked my interest in similar phenomena worldwide.

In California, United States, heavy rainfall has led to flooding, while on the other side of the Atlantic, Norway is suffering from a flood. Conversely, South Europe faces a severe water shortage problem. South America, including Chile and Uruguay, is grappling with extreme heatwaves.

Observing diverse weather anomalies occurring around the globe, I believe the first step we can take is to show "interest." We need to attentively examine not only the temporary weather events in our country but also the various phenomena happening worldwide. Realizing that these global occurrences can eventually impact our country, we must understand the influence of our actions on both local and global climate conditions.

Secondly, we must "act." A cafe I frequently visit in Korea is renowned as 'One Cup Toilet.' Did you know that by washing our hands with soap and using only 400ml of water, we can save resources? Experiencing this firsthand made me aware of how much water and energy I waste. Many cafes in Korea are transforming into environmentally friendly spaces.

I want to convey that with warm interest in the world and small daily actions, such as washing hands, we can contribute to creating a "longer and more beautiful spring" for our children in the world they will live in.
