Downs Syndrome is a condition where one has an extra chromosome which causes them to be differently abled.For us,the extra chromosome means more love,extra hugs and extra kisses for our special children.Different is okay.
t21_fso is a support organisation by the parents of children with Downs Syndrome.It has been my joy to join in as both a partner and an ambassador among the several partners they have managed to attract including doctors,parents and non-governmental organizations. We recently sat down and thought of how best we could come through for our special children and their families/caregivers at t21_fso in addition to spending quality time with them and sending in some donations and from that ,the "Adopt a family" idea struck.This is where,one can opt to take a special child's family under their wings by footing for their yearly medical insurance fee as they are more vulnerable to both physical and mental health issues.I started off with two families .
