Now, as part of their Multimedia Challenge, they are challenged to unite forces to “SAVE THE TIGER”, a campaign by the Minister for Forests, Cultural Affairs, Fisheries, Government of Maharashtra, Sudhir Mungantiwar @sudhir.mungantiwar .

The international delegates were asked to write reports on their Miss World website personal pages, as well as on their social media, about the tigers’ situation in India, most specifically in Maharashtra, where a festival to promote the cause will take place March 1st to 3rd - the Tadoba Festival.

The inaugural edition of the Tadoba Festival ( @mytadoba ) will be a confluence of minds and bodies dedicated to protecting the forest and its inhabitants.

Together, the Miss World delegates will let the whole planet learn about Tadoba, fighting to preserve the tigers, and subsequently avoiding their habitat degradation and loss, hunting by humans, and reporting the international black market in tiger parts and products.

As true agents of change, the Miss World participants will now show what they are capable of doing when they act together for one relevant cause!
