Mahatma Gandhi dedicated himself to India's independence through nonviolent civil disobedience, leading to independence from Britain. His ideals have been passed down to leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr., the leader of the American civil rights movement, and the late President Nelson Mandela, who led the anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
Alongside the late President Mandela, Julia Morley, CEO of the Miss World Organization, who has been dedicated to significant social contributions worldwide for over 70 years based on the principles of Beauty With A Purpose, was awarded the Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) last year.

For three weeks, transcending history, religion, and geopolitics, with the slogan "OneWorld, OneFuture, OneFamily," we have truly created a sense of unity among Miss World contestants from around the world. I am grateful to have been able to participate as the representative of Japan in such a magnificent historic moment. And indeed, Miss World is wonderful!!!
